Rovers fans unite for ‘cherished tradition’
Bristol Rovers fans and players united for the third annual community walk.
Organised by Bristol Rovers Community Trust and the Tote End Old Boys fans group, dozens of supporters joined the walk which started at Aerospace Bristol and finished at the Memorial Stadium.
Bristol Rovers first team player and health ambassador Taylor Moore joined in as the flagbearer of the walk, leading more than 50 people from Filton to Filton Avenue.

A trust spokesperson said the walk has become a “cherished tradition” for Rovers supporters, “uniting fans, players and local residents for a shared cause”.

The annual walk saw participants make their way from Filton to the Memorial Stadium
The distance was reduced this year to just under five miles to make the walk more inclusive for everyone wanting to take part.
Old, young and even four-legged supporters of the Gas joined the walk which aims to promote health, wellness and community spirit.
The event was followed by a medal presentation ceremony at the Bristol Civil Service Sports Club.
