England to face New Zealand at Seat Unique Stadium

Women’s cricket will be coming to the Seat Unique Stadium on Wednesday as England play New Zealand in the last match of the One Day International (ODI) series .

The stadium will host the third Women’s Metro Bank ODI, with the teams last facing each other Sunday at Visit Worcestershire New Road. The matched resulted in an eight wicket win for the England team and their second ODI achievement.

Player Maia Bouchier also scored her 100th innings before going on to be named player of the match.

The match is be the only opportunity to watch the England Women in action in Bristol during 2024.

 

Speaking on the match, England captain Heather Knight said: “We want to be ruthless.

“We have occasionally lost the last game of a series when 2-0 so it is important we go for the win”.

Gloucestershire Country Cricket’s website states that a sell-out crowd is expected.
