Ashton Gate to host England A vs Ireland A in 2025

Ashton Gate Stadium will host England men’s A side against Ireland men’s A side on February 23 2025.

Bristol Bears scrum-half Harry Randall is expected to play for the England team.

The last time the teams faced each other, at the March 2024 Six Nations Championship, England had a 23-22 victory.

The England v Ireland announcement comes after recent confirmation that the 27,000-capacity stadium will also host both the semi-finals and two quarter-finals of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in September 2025.

16 teams will play in the World Cup. Ten have already qualified, including England.

“With the stadium also hosting both the semi-finals and two quarter-finals of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, 2025 is set to be an incredible year for the stadium and our highly-skilled team is looking forward to delivering the best experience for fans, players and coaches when we welcome England A and Ireland A in February.”
