Bristol leapfrog Bath to climb off bottom of table
Bristol Bears climbed off the bottom of the Premiership table following a 30-12 victory against Newcastle Falcons.
At a soggy Ashton Gate on Friday evening in front of hundreds of NHS staff who had been given free tickets, the Bears played their first home league game for 77 days.
The win came courtesy of two tries from Harry Randall, one from Chris Vui and one from Fitz Harding in the last play of the game, with the rest of the points from the boot of James Williams.
is needed now More than ever
Former Durham University student Fred Davies made his Premiership debut in a game which saw numerous handling errors due to the wet conditions.
The bonus-point victory means that Bristol leapfrog both Bath and Newcastle at the foot of the league table.
