Bristol24/7 Student Guide 2020

Welcome to Bristol24/7’s 2020 Student Guide, which is all available online for the first time.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic and a confusing results season, many students are venturing to the exciting city of Bristol for the first time, and Bristol24/7 has you covered.

Edited by Jack Fifield, an English Language and Linguistics graduate from UWE Bristol, and created with the help of more than 20 students from across Bristol’s two main universities, it’s your go-to guide for student life in Bristol right now.

“This year’s student guide is a little bit different,” says Jack. “With Covid-19, a lot of things have had to change in our daily lives, and there are still a lot of unknowns.

“However, Bristol remains as colourful and vibrant a city as ever – even if some of it has to be appreciated virtually for the time being.

“Just because your Bristol experience might look a bit different to normal, doesn’t mean it won’t be just as fun. While this year might be a weird one, just remember that we’re all in this together.”
