A Place for Everyone
Audio-visual exhibition for which Bristolians have shared their experiences and memories of Colston Hall – from the weird, to the wonderful to the unforgettable.
Features unique audio interviews drawn from 20 in-depth conversations and numerous other short recordings, alongside over 30 specially commissioned illustrations covering the last seven decades at the venue.
Alongside the main interviews, conducted by oral historian Tot Foster, visitors can also hear short pieces of dialogue recorded with people from different parts of Bristol. The exhibition will also feature 40 specially commissioned illustrations from Matt Booker, who has worked with publishing houses and magazines across the UK.

While listening to the interviews, visitors will be able to sit in some of the seating from the Colston Hall, set aside as the building undergoes its ambitious transformation.
