Alternative Visions: Undiscovered Art in the South West

Frank, emotive and vibrant work by 20 undiscovered artists from across the region.

For these artists, art is a valuable way to express themselves and communicate personal life experiences including health issues, disabilities, difficult social circumstances, or isolation.

The exhibition also includes audio from Bristol based group Artists First.

The exhibition includes artwork by Alex Orrell, Anthony Hill, Arthur Mactaggart, Darryn Michael, Emma Louvelle, Gavin Blench, George G Harding (Pink Rain and Pain, pictured), Jeremy Lovelady, John Taylor, Joshua Howlett, Lisa Fay, Max Frances, Widow Twanky, Lyeekha, Peter Matthews, Peter Sutton, Pinn, Roger Davison, Sam Emm Art and Steve Burden.

Alternative Visions is developed in partnership with Outside In and Arts & Health South West. Funded by Arts Council England Strategic Touring programme.

Tue-Sun (plus Bank Holiday and school holiday Mondays) 10am-5pm, free. Please be aware that a few artworks featured contain images that some visitors may find upsetting. For a programme of exhibition tours, see link below.
