Bristol Savages 108th Annual Exhibition
Bristol Savages is a society whose members are interested in the visual and performing arts as well as good fun and fellowship.
There are members who draw and paint, others who make music or write poetry, and those who simply enjoy the creative talents of their fellow members.
They meet regularly throughout the winter months on Wednesday evenings in the the Wigwam, a large hall situated in the grounds behind The Red Lodge Museum.
is needed now More than ever
Tradition is most important to them and the form of the evening is little different from their date of foundation in 1904.
Every year during the first two weeks of May, they hold their annual exhibition of paintings in the Wigwam. Entry to the exhibition is free and all are welcome.
The paintings on show in the Annual Exhibition are the fruits of sketching excursions and many hours of arduous work during the year.
Approximately 135 paintings will be on view and for sale. Debit and Credit Card payment accepted.
Apr 28-May 12, 10am-4.45pm daily. For more info, visit www.bristolmuseums.org.uk/red-lodge-museum/whats-on/bristol-savages-108th-exhibition
