Cartman, Evans and Kelly
Lime Tree Gallery presents a powerful exhibition of new work by Sam Cartman, John Evans and Barry Kelly. These three artists with contrasting styles are nevertheless complementary. The exhibition features primarily landscape painting.
John Evans paints mainly urban cityscapes, often around Bristol (Orange Sails by Arnolfini, detail, pictured). Sam Cartman portrays the uplands of Southern Scotland and Northern England. New to the gallery, Barry Kelly paints the gentler landscapes of southern and south-western England.
As is always the case at Lime Tree Gallery, this is painting of genuine skill and technique.
