Superheroes of Slam
Manchester-based writer development organisation, Commonword, have teamed up with leading Bristol poet and performer Shagufta K Iqbal to present the Bristol heat of the 2017 Superheroes of Slam contest.
Contestants will have 3 minutes to perform and will be judged by audience responses and guest judges.
The final will take place on Ocotber 12 at Manchester’s Three Minute Theatre. where the regional finalists from Berlin, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Leicester, Manchester, Newcastle, Rochdale and Sheffield will battle it out for the title of Superheroes of Slam Champion 2017. Alongside the title, the winner will receive £250 and an Arvon Course of their choice (subject to availability).
