Bristol24/7 has pledged to create opportunities for people that are not usually heard in local media to get their voices heard, and for people looking to break into creative industries in Bristol to get access to these opportunities.
Stories From our City Project
We teamed up with boomsatsuma to give people who are currently underrepresented in the film industry the opportunity to participate in a pilot project. boomsatsuma have delivered arts and culture opportunities to more than 5,000 children and young people in the South West.
The project was designed to give a small group of people the opportunity to gain practical film-making experience in order to tell their stories and help them get a foot in the door.
the participants will showcase their films at this event and share their experiences of the project.
Want to get into the creative industry?
From 5pm there will also be an opportunity for those looking to get into the creative industry – whoever you are and however much experience you have – to meet professionals who can offer advice, contacts, and possible routes into various creative sectors.
So if you are someone who is looking to get into creative roles or someone who can offer insight from within this sector please arrive early.
