You’ve seen The Disaster Artist, now meet the real Greg Sestero. He’s actually a regular visitor to Bristol thanks to his chums and longstanding supporters at the Bristol Bad Film Club. A while back, he was here with Tommy Wiseau, legendary writer/director/star of The Room, for an early test screening of their new film Best F(r)iends. Now he’s back to introduce another exclusive screening of both parts of this epic to celebrate its release on blu ray. Even though Tommy’s not coming this time, the event is bound to sell out quickly.
It’s apparently inspired by a road trip the duo took together, with Sestero playing a fella who encounters a lonely mortician (Wiseau). They then embark on what is described as a ‘wild journey’. “After watching Best F(r)iends, your mind will find paradise,” Wiseau has promised. Go here for tickets.
