Queer Vision: Miles

Director
Nathan Adloff
Certificate
TBA
Running Time
87 mins

Out and proud student Miles (Tim Boardman) is desperate to escape stifling smalltown life by going to college. Alas, his options are limited because his dad has pissed away his college fund on a mistress. Eventually, he finds a volleyball scholarship between his high school and a Chicago university. The catch? His school’s only volleyball team is for girls.

Based on the real-life experiences of director Nathan Adloff, Miles received mixed reviews, with some finding it a bit too ‘movie of the week’. But it’s a suitably jolly, likeable film on which to end this year’s Bristol Pride film festival, Queer Vision.
