Vera (Marie Prevost) is unhappily married to Bud (Cullen Landis). Plot shenanigans see her seconded to US divorce captial Reno, causing Bud to fear that she’s divorcing him for real. Mayhem ensues in this Cecil B. DeMille-produced 1928 romcom, directed by silent film veteran James Cruze.

This Slapstick Festival screening will be introduced by Michelle Facey (Kennington Bioscope) and features live piano accompaniment by John Sweeney.
