Irish photojournalist turned director Seamus Murphy charts the creative process behind his regular collaborator PJ Harvey‘s 2016 album The Hope Six Demolition Project.
As you might expect, it’s an unconventional, impressionistic film. But it failed to convince Hollywood Reporter, which called it a a “disappointingly mundane, unrevealing affair”. The Watershed’s preview screening on Thursday 7 November is followed by a Q&A with director Seamus Murphy. The Cube’s 6pm screening on November 24 is followed by a Q&A with PJ Harvey’s long-term collaborator John Parrish.
