Italian-born filmmaker Roberto Minervini continues his explorations of the flipside of the American Dream by heading to New Orleans for this blistering meditation on the state of race relations in Trump’s America, set against the backdrop of a string of brutal killings of black men during 2017.

Following several threads, including the New Black Panther Party’s preparations for a large-scale protest against police violence, the film documents the lives of those who have been marginalised by the media and alienated by failing institutions.
