Originally titled Number One, this topical, darkly comic thriller from actress and Venus Beauty writer/director Tonie Marshall casts Emmanuelle Devos as an ambitious high-flying businesswoman who’s invited to apply for the job of CEO of a huge French water company. If she succeeds, she’ll become the first woman to break that particular glass ceiling. But what she’s not prepared for is the nastiness of her chauvinistic male rivals.
