Vincente Minneli’s archetypal lavish MGM romantic musical of love in the city of light from 1951 boasted a Gershwin score and much athletic hoofing by Gene Kelly. This inspired Christopher Wheeldon‘s Tony Award-winning musical theatre production, which bagged a record-setting 28 five-star reviews.

Now it comes to cinemas, having been recorded at the Dominion Theatre during its West End run. Feel free to croon along with the likes of ‘S Wonderful and I Got Rhythm from the comfort of your cinema seat.
