Julius Caesar has been done away with, leaving Mark Antony as boss man of Rome. But, alas, he’s so engaged in lusty frolics with Cleopatra that he begins to neglect his empire.

The second in the RSC’s season of the Bard’s four great political thrillers, Antony and Cleopatra is directed by Iqbal Khan, who triumphed with Othello in 2015. Also returning to the company is Josette Simon, who plays Cleopatra. Antony Byrne is cast as Mark Antony.
