Who’s Gonna Love Me Now? + Q&A + Performance

Director
Tomer Heymann, Barak Heymann
Certificate
15
Running Time
89 mins

Fortysomething gay Israeli former paratrooper Saar Maoz is living in London when he learns that he’s HIV positive after enjoying a sex’n’drugs binge following a bust-up with his long-term partner. Now he faces rejection by his orthodox Jewish family, but is supported by his friends in the London Gay Men’s Chorus. Shot over several years, the Heymann brothers’ documentary is a suitably uplifting, often comic account of the triumph of love over prejudice.

This one-off screening is followed by a Q&A session hosted by Julian Clary and a performance by the London Gay Men’s Chorus broadcast live from the Barbican.
