Curzon at Court House Farm: Mary Poppins

Director
Robert Stevenson
Certificate
U
Running Time
133 mins

If the sequel’s got you wildly over-excited, here’s a chance to enjoy Disney’s original 1962 supernatural childminder musical, starring an Oscar-winning (in her screen debut) Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke famously essaying the worst-ever Cockney accent.

Note that although this screening is organised by Clevedon’s Curzon Cinema, it actually takes place in the cow shed at Court House Farm in Portishead. You’re invited to bring a cushion and rug. Hot chocolate, mulled wine and seasonal snacks will be on sale. Advance booking is essential. Go here for tickets.
