Shrieking, rather sentimental, mysteriously popular ’80s kids’ adventure flick, based on a story by Steven Spielberg. It’s an Indiana Jones-style romp that sees its pint-sized heroes (including future Lord of the Rings star Sean Astin) tussling with pirates while on the trail of lost treasure.
