Bristol Bad Film Club: Jack Frost

Director
Michael Cooney
Certificate
18
Running Time
89 mins

‘Tis the week before Christmas and the vehicle transporting convicted serial killer Jack Frost to jail collides with a ‘genetics truck’ (no, really) in the backwater town of Snowmonton. The psycho is instantly transformed into a killer snowman bent on inflicting terrible revenge upon the sheriff who caught him.

Strikingly awful yet perversely entertaining, this genuinely abominable snowman movie is packed with gratuitous gore, nudity and groan-inducing one-liners. It went straight to video (remember that?) back in 1996, but  returns to haunt us courtesy of the Bristol Bad Film Club. All profits from their screening go to Bristol Zero Tolerance.
