An ordinary LA couple are somewhat surprised and alarmed to find that they’ve produced an evil, fanged nipper, which embarks on a slaughtering spree hot from the womb. The great Larry Cohen‘s 1974 cult classic is arguably the definitive mutant baby horror, boasting terrific Rick Baker effects and one of Bernard Herrmann‘s final scores.
This welcome Cinema Rediscovered screening launches the festival’s Scala Rediscovered strand celebrating the legendary London repertory cinema. It will be introduced by Dr Andy Willis of the University of Salford.
