Lucy Dacus was born through the thriving indie rock scene of Richmond Virginia and has received attention and praise straight out of the gate. Putting together first record No Burden on short notice after hearing that Starstruck Studio had an open day it was released on Egghunt Records before being re-released on Matador after being overwhelmingly acclaimed. Now, having moved on to the highly anticipated second album Historian, Lucy is covering themes like hope, death and gratefulness. She’s supported by Fenne Lily at Thekla.
