Detorit post-punks, Protomartyr, came together in 2010 after cultivating in a tightly knit music scene. Protomartyr give you the feeling that they have ingested every classic post-punk record and used it to weave their own story, becoming entirely new and familiar at once. The band have played several high profile festivals and won fans across the world and with them heading to Thekla there are sure to be several new ones come the start of May.
