Instant Wit

Date: Saturday, May 27 2017
Time: 8:00pm
Venue: Alma Tavern & Theatre
Price: £10

Bristol’s acclaimed comedy improvisation company returns to the Alma.

“Fancy watching a scene where two scientists try to pass off an elephant in a duffle coat as a mammoth? Or an episode featuring two master canoeists, where you can change their emotions at will? Your wish is our command!  But don’t worry, nobody is forced to participate and we even build in a section where anonymous suggestions, written down in the interval, can be acted out. Good suggestions receive flying packets of custard; the best of the evening gets a bottle of wine!”

The team this time round will include Peta Maurice  (The Adventures of Pinocchio, Tobacco Factory Theatres),  musician Knud Stuwe (Bristol Mandolin Ensemble, Mr Dowland’s Midnight) plus IW’s artistic directors Chris Grimes and Stephanie Weston.
