New HQ for award-winning food business
A Bristol-based food business which sells award-winning sausages and bacon has moved its HQ to Wapping Wharf.
The Jolly Hog’s new base – Hog HQ – is in repurposed shipping containers along Museum Street next to CARGO 2.
The move means it is now just around the corner from its Pigsty eatery at CARGO, which has been its sole restaurant since the one on Gloucester Road closed in 2019.
The new HQ will be used for food photography and product development as well as have a space for entertaining.

Max Kohn, co-founder of the Jolly Hog, says they are “looking forward” to being based in Wapping Wharf, where the atmosphere is “amazing”.
He said: ”The office itself is looking just how we wanted it, and you can hardly miss us if you walk past! The new location will aid our retail business alongside Pigsty and we are really looking forward to that.”
Stuart Hatton, managing director at Umberslade, the developer of Wapping Wharf, adds that he is “delighted” to welcome Hog HQ to Wapping Wharf.
He added: “It’s been great to see this wonderful independent business go from strength to strength over the years and now expand its presence within the neighbourhood.
“We wish the whole team all the best with the exciting next chapter in their Jolly Hog adventures.”
The Jolly Hog was founded by former professional rugby player Olly Kohn and his brothers John and Max in 2007 – and its meat products are now also available in supermarkets.
