20% off food and drink at Bocabar: Perk of the day, October 9

By Meg Houghton-Gilmour  Sunday Oct 8, 2023

Bristol24/7 is 100 per cent independent, and we would not be able to enact our journalism, social impact and all of our other work without the support of our community. Our supporter members pay £5 a month or £45 a year and are a crucial part of ensuring that Bristol has an independent local media voice for years to come.

To say thank you to our members for their support, we give them ‘perks’ – freebies, discounts and competitions – such as free pints, discounts at some of our favourite restaurants, cruise giveaways (yes, you read that right) and more with some of Bristol’s finest businesses.

This October, we’ve got a different perk for every single day of the month.

Independent journalism
is needed now More than ever
Keep our city's journalism independent.

Day nine brings us to the fantastic offer of 20 per cent off at Bocabar – an award winning independent venue located in both Paintworks on Bath road and Finzels Reach. At the heart of Bocabar is their fabulous ten-metre long bar, displaying a selection of local draught beers and ciders, spirits, wines and refreshing soft drinks; their cocktail list is extensive and also features monthly specials that are lovingly created by the staff.

Their creative kitchen, overseen by head chef Matt Parry, delivers locally-sourced and seasonal breakfasts, lunchtime specials, Sunday roasts and their renowned delicious stone baked Boca pizzas. Their deli counter is filled daily, with a variety of freshly made savoury pasties, scotch eggs, antipasti, wholesome salads and delicious cakes and desserts.

Beautiful scenery and delicious food and beverages all included within this month’s perks – not to mention the countless other opportunities and experiences that fall within the Bristol24/7 membership.
